In concrete terms: firewall design and operation, secure remote access via VPN or a zero-trust approach, multi-factor authentication, patch management and tested backups — because a backup that has never been restored is merely a hope. Add to that the view on the revised Swiss data protection act (revDSG): Where does your personal data live, who has access, what is documented?
And because the biggest weakness is rarely the technology, we also train your team on request — from spotting phishing to handling passwords. Security that works in everyday business instead of blocking it.
How an audit works
We begin with a conversation, not a scanner: What would be the most expensive outage for your business, which data is truly sensitive? We then review your systems from the inside and the outside and summarise the findings in a report sorted by urgency that non-technical readers understand — three pages with clear priorities instead of eighty pages of appendix. What you do with it is your decision: implement it yourself, engage us, or bring in a third party.
Frequent findings
Remote access left open since the home-office year. Backups that run but have never been restored. Admin rights for everyone, because it was convenient. Updates waiting for "later". The pattern is almost always the same: what is missing is not money for security products but order in the fundamentals — and those cost the least.
