Why local instead of cloud?
Off-the-shelf smart-home systems send your data to the manufacturers’ servers — and only work as long as their cloud does. With us, everything stays in the house: your automations keep running even during an internet outage, there are no subscription fees, and nobody but you sees what happens in your home. Privacy under Swiss law (revDSG) is not a setting here — it is the architecture.
Frequently asked questions
Does my smart home have to be connected to a cloud?
No. Your hub runs locally in your home and works even without an internet connection. There is no forced cloud and there are no recurring subscription fees.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays in the house. No usage data is transferred to manufacturer clouds. The system is built privacy-friendly and compliant with the Swiss data protection act (revDSG).
Can I keep using my existing devices?
Usually yes. The platform we use, Home Assistant, supports more than 3000 integrations — Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Wi-Fi devices, KNX and many more. We check your existing devices in the initial consultation.
Does voice control work without Alexa or Google?
Yes. On request we set up voice control that is processed entirely locally in the house. No audio data leaves your home.
Is this suitable for rented flats?
Yes. The entry setup is radio-based and needs no structural changes — when you move out, everything comes with you without leaving a trace.
What follow-up costs are there?
No mandatory ones. Since everything runs locally, there are no subscription fees. Optionally we take over maintenance with updates and support.
