Saba-IT is the one-person company of Andrius «Pius» Sabaliauskas, based in Schaffhausen. We plan, build and operate IT infrastructure for Swiss SMEs — whether that is quick help with an acute problem, a properly configured firewall or the complete infrastructure.
Our principle is data sovereignty: your data belongs to you and stays in Switzerland. Wherever it makes sense, we rely on open-source software and self-hosted systems instead of cloud subscriptions whose prices and terms are set by others. That lowers running costs and makes you independent.
What we recommend, we run ourselves: our entire infrastructure — from virtualisation through monitoring and backups to AI services — runs on our own hardware, operated by us. This lab is our proving ground: new solutions only reach customers once they have passed continuous operation here.
And what if something happens?
The fair question to ask of a personal point of contact: what happens if they are ever unavailable? That is exactly why everything is built so that your business never depends on a single person.
